Immanuel Mifsud lectures in Maltese literature at the University of Malta (Junior College) and is currently working on his doctoral thesis on corporeality and embodiment in Maltese 20th century poetry.
He is particularly interested in applying French feminist theory (esp Kristeva), abjection, gaze theory to literary studies.
